I finally got through enough of the backlog of mail and bills to be able to resume working on photos – mostly looking for superfluous photos but also marking some of the best ones.
Writing these posts was a lot more exciting in Africa than it is here!
My iPhone offered me the choice of two updates this afternoon:
Somewhat to my surprise, I decided against installing the new shiny version, at least for now.
I also discovered that unplugging the TiVo while we were in Africa may not have been as good an idea as I thought. We did save electricity, and maybe some wear and tear on the hard disk, but when I finally plugged the TiVo in this evening, it was very confused because it had run out of show data. It connected to the TiVo service and came partially back to life, but I think it’s going to take a while before it’s fully sane.
