We had an amazing day today in the Serengeti. We drove 270km (167 miles) roundtrip to see the wildebeest migration at the Masai Mara River. We had to wait for more than two hours until they actually started to move, and then it was awesome!
On the way, we saw cheetah, maribou stork, long-crested eagle, klipspring antelope, eland, as well as our old friends the lilac-breasted rollers, impala, topi, hartebeest, elephants, baboons, an entire pride of lions, and too many zebras to count!
But I’m tired, connectivity is limited, and dinner is imminent, so please enjoy this rainbow with zebra and golden grass.
